possible to set 25mi MAX visibility but also use real world weather?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,I want to set a global setting of no more than 25miles of visibility, however I also want to use real world weather for wind information etc.But to do this, it appears I only have the choice of 1) setting the global visibilty to 25mi and not using real world weather.or2) use real world weather, then individually set the visibiliy on each weather station I will fly through.obviosly, the latter takes the ####.you may ask, "why do want to set a max vis", or, its not really REAL world weather then if you change the vis"^^ the reason for this, is it looks more realistic than unlimited vis because it just blurs out and looks a bit ####.thanks

IN FSX if you set global visibility to 20mi "globally", the entire weather stats for all stations become global as well, unfortunately.I use ASV6,5 which can limit visibility to anything you like for each and every weather station without altering all weather stations "other weather" data. This is very convenient as I dont like the unlimited vis default in FSX it is way too clear.Bur ASV6,5 is payware. But fantastic, and FSX compliant.I also think FSUIPC4, FXS ready, can limit vis globally without other interernce as well, and it is payware to use that feature, freeware otherwise...is needed for ASV6,5, but does not require registration (payment) with ASV6,5 usage to get the limiting feature..allen

thanks for the reply.so there is no way to do this without using some sort of payware addon?--mike :/
