Are You Concerned About Airports? (Don't be!)

Featured Replies

There seems to be a bit of confusion surrounding airports in MSFS.

Remember - the list of airports included in their release announcement only represent the airfields receiving the highest level of custom scenery treatment by Asobo. Much like all the versions of flight simulator which have come before it, MSFS will still contain tens of thousands of other airports, and they've created a very intensive workflow to make sure that even many of the smallest airports are covered.

I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing how the airports in my local area have been treated - if they are anything like the other "generic" airports we've seen in videos and screenshots, a third party developer will really need to raise the bar to entice me to make a purchase.

If you have continuing concerns, please watch this discovery series video dedicated to the topic of airports in MSFS....
