Any official word from FS2020 developers on multi-core?

Featured Replies

I am an X-Plane 11 user with a pre-ordered FS2020. Last time I spec'd a computer, I made the mistake of buying a version of the Intel Core i9 that has a lot of cores but only so-so single-core performance (Core i9 9820X).  Because X-Plane 11 is mostly limited to the single-core performance, I have a system that is completely bottlenecked by CPU (my GPU is a decent AMD Vega56 6 GB).

My question for the community is whether we have some kind of expectation of how FS2020 will be take advantage of multiple cores. Has this discussion ever come up?

Thanks!

Nothing official so far, ideal spec has an 8 core/16 thread CPU though.
