October 22, 200619 yr Hitting Shift + 2 accesses the radio panel in the DC3 but I can't figure out how to enter Nav frequencies.Help would be appreciated.Cliff
October 22, 200619 yr Depending on where your cursor is on the dial, you can adjust the decimal points or the main frequency, admittedly it is a bit fiddly and certainly very hard in VC view, making the 2D pop up panel the only sensible choice. The dial you are looking for is at top left I seem to recall. I suggest you flick the audio on and check it with the morse signal too, although hovering your mouse over the thing should pop up the current frequency if you have tips selected as an option.Make sure you have the right (right as in correct) NAV radio active too.I've found that as per the real world, reception is quite limited by altitude owing to ground clutter and I'd not expect to pick up much outside 50 miles range on radio gear that old, given that the DC-3 is unlikely to be cruising much above 11,000 feet without making life hard for the passengers! If you are attempting to simulate bygone era flying, that's pretty much it, but if not, then the GPS may very well be a big help for navigation, although I doubt that ATC would approve of that too much in the real world. October 22, 200619 yr Put your mouse over the Center dial and that will increment/decrement the .xxx value. Put your mouse over the Top Left Orange button, and that will increment/decrement the xxx. value.
October 23, 200619 yr Revraz and chock....I'm impressed. First with the promptness of your respnses and second with how you've both solved the problem so quickly. Thanks guys.Cliff
