Watch out for this Activation scenario

Featured Replies

I installed FSX a couple of weeks ago with no problems. I have been tweaking for days. The only add-ons are FSUIPC4 and Eaglesoft's Liberty XL2. Everything was working fine until today. I installed a USB multi-card reader last night. Today I un-installed it. Pretty simple stuff. Well, now FSX says that it is no longer activated and to call support.Has anyone experienced anything like this? Also, does anyone know how to re-activate without re-installing?Thanks,

OMG, if that's what really caused FSX to loose it's activation then I must say, that blows! If the activation scheme really is that sensitive and problematic I would hope they fix it.Anyway, I don't know for certain, but perhaps you could try double-clicking the file...X:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator Xactivate.exe...(where X: = drive letter FSX is installed on)and see if that starts up the activation process.Hope that helps,Jim
