October 23, 200619 yr I have added some scenery for FS2004 in FSX and it appears correctly in FSX Deluxe Edition. The scenery is located on another hard disk than the one on which FSX is installed. However I want to add a Flatten command to one of the add-on files, but in the scenery.cfg file in the FSX main directory, the files that I have added do not appear in the listing as it did in FS9. although the added scenery appears well in FSX.The last listed area in the FSX scenery.cfg file is as follows:[Area.115]Title=Addon SceneryLocal=Addon SceneryLayer=115Active=TRUERequired=TRUEI changed an add-on, directory file name to see what would happen, and restarted FSX, it advised me that it could not locate scenery files for [Area.116] etc...When I did a complete search on my system for [Area.116] it could not be found anywhere in any files on my hard disks.Where does FSX keep track of add-on scenery files which are not located in the "Addon Scenery" sub-directory of FSX.Where could I add the flatten command so that it is activated when loading add-on sceneries.Thank you for any help in this regard.
October 23, 200619 yr The last listing in the question above should read "[Area.115]"I searched for "[Area.116]" on my disks and it could not be found anywhere.
