October 24, 200619 yr I hope it's okay to ask this here. I can't find any place else that might be able to help. I've been trying to get through tutorial 7. The one with the glider plane that has to be towed into the air first. My problem is that the plane towing the glider seems to enjoy swerving back and forth and I can NOT keep up with him. The line always breaks every time, before I'm high enough up to fly on my own for the tutorial. Is there a trick to staying with the tow plane or do I have to keep trying over and over and over? Because I already spent half of yesterday trying and several hours tonight as well. :(
October 24, 200619 yr Hehe, I know what you mean. I was having the same problem and a few times I ended up beside the tow plane or almost passing over top of it. Eventually I got the hang of it and find that you need to concentrate on the tail of the tow plane. Try and lift off just before the tow and then stay centered on the back of it and slightly above. Make small and frequent adjustments to stay centered. Once I release finding the thermals and making it up to the mission gates is another story ;)Phil
October 24, 200619 yr try air brakesanyway, the tow plane takes "controlled flight into terrain" to new lows--each time i used it, it flew into a mountain, broad daylight, skc, calm :-lol
October 24, 200619 yr Okay, I'll try to concentrate more on the tail of the tow plane next time. Thanks! :)
