August 14, 20205 yr Interesting video showcasing Queenstown, New Zealand. He also has some stutters on a top end system with modest settings (according to himself). Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
August 14, 20205 yr It looks stunning. I really do not worry about stutters now in the prerelease version - or if they persist to some extent in the upcoming months. It seems obvous from all reports that this truly is a next gen engine. From that perspective it seems to run incredibly well on todays hardware considering the level of detail in both the landscape, weather and aircraft. This really feels like an engine that when tweaked and running on the hardware we will have in a couple of years will be amazing. When FSX was launched I had a top of the line computer and it was a stutter fest. And then it really did not look "great" or next gen at all by the standards of 2006... This looks next gen and runs really good on release day -20. Think about how it will run in a year with the DX12 update, many rounds of optimization etc. Edited August 14, 20205 yr by mazex Ryzen 9800X3D | Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX MB | 64GB 6000Mhz DDR5 | RTX 5080 GPU | Windows 11 Pro x64 | Virpil T-50 Throttle | T50 CM2 Grip + WarBRD | VKB T-rudder MK IV | Asus PG279Q 1440p | Pimax Crystal Light VR | Samsung 980 Pro as system disk and Samsung 990 Pro M2 SSD for games
