Here is the best tip you'll ever discover for improving FPS when using 4K (or perhaps when using other resolutions as well). In the Graphics Options, downscale the "Render Scaling" from 100 to 80. This adjustment will make an almost imperceptible change to visual quality, but will give you 8-10 extra FPS in 4K.
