Anyone see this in G1000 in Mooney Bravo?

Featured Replies

Hi, all,On my system, the G1000 in the Mooney Bravo is ... well, not "shimmering" exactly ... but the various lines that compose it and divide its areas/fields from one another are constantly in crazy motion: flowing, I guess you could say. On banking the plane or turning my viewpoint in the cockpit, the problem becomes very noticeable. What's really strange is that the G1000's in my other default planes are A-OK. No weird flowing at all. Why would that be?Can anyone else confirm this? If it's not too much trouble, could you spare a minute to check on it, perhaps by loading up the Bravo (and the Baron, for comparison? Thanks,Daniel

Are you using anti-aliasing. It could be that the size/scale difference in the Mooney is just different enough that you're getting lots of "jaggies" in the lines. Also, try zooming in a bit to see if that helps.

Thanks, tdragger, I'll give zooming in a try when I get home from work. To answer your question, I've been using 6x AA (and Adaptive AA at "quality"), both set in ATI tray tools (AA unchecked in the sim).Daniel

When I had Temporal AA turned on ATI Tools I got some weird lines through some gauges. Turning that off and only running Adaptive AA took care of that. Maybe you're running Temporal AA, too?
