Tip to Mimic X-plane view system (sort of)

For you X-Plane guys like me there are options in the Keyboard Control menu to set custom views: Save Custom View and Load Custom View.  I set Save Custom View 0 to R-Ctrl + Num 0, Save Custom View 1 to R-Ctrl + 1, etc.  I then set Load Custom View to Num 0 and Load Custom View to Num 1, etc. through Num 9.  Don't forget to delete the existing numpad assignments for control surfaces.

Then you can set and control views similar to X-Plane.
