August 18, 20205 yr Hi everyone, After a few hours on Flight Simulator, here is a wish list to I will update from time to time. If you guys from Asobo are around .... Installation 1/ it would be great that only a limited zone is donwloaded at installation, with one single plane, so that you could try flying pretty quickly after download (the rest of the packages being donwloaded in the background) Map 1/ I have not found any way to click on a facility on the map to have more details (frequencies, runways etc) 2/ Map should be capable of moving the plane quickly any where in the world 3/ Dezoom is too limited Planes 1/ why isn't possible to pick a plane on the go (without resetting a brand new flight from the main menu) - at least when you are still on the ground ? Slew mode 1/ slew mode is terrible - it should be made more precise, so that you can really move teh aircraft perfectly where you want it to be 2/ why the hell are slew mode controls under the camera section in the controls options ? Controls options 1/ Asabo, we are not coming from nowhere - most of us have 10+ years of practice on FS/P3D - why did you change all the keyboard controls ? 2/ Controls options are terrible - why are the input devices segregated ? I would have hoped for a list of all control options and the capacity to set for each an input (that could even be a combination of devices like spacebar+mouse move) 3/ installation should propose limited controls settings for thoe who know that they will use the mouse to toggle most of the functions/instruments Views 1/ in a nutshell : please make it simple !!!! this is such a nightmare currently 2/ instruments / pilot / quickviews of the cockpit section should all be under one sigle name/subsection - these are all the same things and having mutiple categories makes it hard to navigate 3/ same comment for the external views section (and how come the preset external views fall under the sshowcase section - that does not make ANY sense) 4/ in the external views, using the free move with the mouse (right button + mouse move), why is the view moving slightly on the roll axis (and getting back to perfect horinzontal after one or two seconds) ? That's making me sick 5/ showcase section should be renamed drone section 6/ why are drone movements only with keyboard by default - since drone view prevents the use of joystick to control the user's aircraft you should be able to use teh joystick - or the mous - to control the drone World 1/ thanks for the slopped runway - some are too sloppy though, being nothing less than a roller coaster - example : LIPZ) 2/ you should be able to desactivate crash detection Some bugs I have come accross 1/ LIPZ ground frequency says its Verona not Venice 2/ I have been in a situation in the A320 with full throttle, speed increasing on the PFD but the aircraft not moving on the ground 3/ LF50 runways is certainly not in concrete To close on a positive note, the graphic engine is wonderful. UI is appealing but still perfectible (not flxible enough, controls options to be adapted), aircraft physics seem OK for GA aircraft. More to come
