New problem since blue screen of death event ..

Featured Replies

Two problems, actually. Maybe they were there before the bluescreen crash, but I don't think so. 1). I can now see about a 2mm band of desktop around the screen in the full screen mode. 2). (I hope I can explain this). When the menu bar is visible at the top of the screen while you are showing frames per sec - and you need to select say "World" -> "Map", the target bar will gain focus i.e. turn blue only when the mouse pointer is at a location about 5mm below the actual menu bar. Then you can click at that spot, and the menu box will open. The same thing happens choosing any menu choice within the now-opened box. It's managable, but I think this is a new bug. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hmmm. I know what I have to say doesn't sound good, and I could be entirely wrong! But it kind of sounds like either a monitor adjustment problem or an altogether hardware problem.Have you tried adjusting your monitor with the OSD(On Screen Display) buttons? That's probably not it but I'm not sure what to make of your problem.Good Luck,Jim

Hey Jim; She's a Gateway 21" at 1680 x 1050. I only really noticed it last night while flying the updated F1 Cessna (which is absolutely beautiful, by the way!). The normal desktop is good, crisp and clean. I think I'll try it with FS9 tonight, and then see what happens. Thanks for the reply.
