August 19, 20205 yr As can be seen below, my system is on the old side. I can easily see that performance is going to be severely challenged in complex scenarios sooner or later so I plan to purchase an i7-9700 based system. My question is, what is the proper way to get my Premium Deluxe installation of MSFS from the old machine to the new machine after it arrives. Or more likely how to properly uninstall from old. And then reinstall on new? Presently, the 1-Gig MS-app is on my "C:" drive and the main 120-something gig program on an independent 2TB SSD. Naturally, I'd like to avoid having to re-download the 120-something gig main program, but am willing to do so if necessary. My first notion is to uninstall the app on the old machine through the Windows Apps and Features screen. I am guessing that I will no longer have access to the sim any longer as one would expect. The question remains, is it a simple matter of reinstalling the entire sim on the new machine, app and main program? Can I word not allowed the SSD from the old machine and put it into the new machine retaining the 120-something Gig main program? Will the MS store recognize that I have uninstalled from the old machine and not make a fuss when I try to reinstall the sim from the MS store on the new machine? Any help on this matter would be appreciated! Thanks! August 31, 20205 yr It isn't necessary to uninstall it from your old system to install it in another computer although you can if you wish. You can install it in both PCs you may only use it on one at a time though.
