First training flight

Okay, how many of you have completed the first training flight.   Though I'm a fairly experience simmer I wanted to see if there were any hidden gems in the training flights (about operating the program not about flying a plane).   So I attempted the first training flight .  It uses a prop plane, the Cessna 172, which has, what I understand there to be, a mixture setting bug.  The plane flies fine as long as the instructor has the controls but when she turns the plane over to me the plane looses power.   Even at full throttle the plane can hardly climb and twice during the training, the engine shutdown on me.  I wasn't aware at first.  All I knew was that I had no power to even fly level.   I then did a CTRL E and the engines restarted but still full throttle could barely keep the plane in level flight.  Again I think this is all due to a bug in the software that is not setting a proper mixture

What surprises me is that no one else is reporting this????.  Is it just me experiencing this???
