August 22, 20205 yr I'm new to Little Nav Map, so please excuse any misunderstandings. I've started using this with MSFS2020 and really like it. My setup is that I am running my Sim on a PC, and Little Nav Map on a Mac laptop. This works fine and I'm able to connect through the proxy/agent on the sim machine and see my plane, ...etc. However - what I don't have is a DB of Airports from the Sim. I understand that at present we can't read the new MSFS files. However - I'm wondering if there preexisting DB files generated from FSX somewhere that I can just grab and load into Little Nav Map on my Macbook. Does this exist anywhere? (incidentally, I do also own FSX, but I don't really want too download and set it up just to generate these files). Any tips appreciated.
August 22, 20205 yr You can use the included or an updated Navigraph database. This is certainly more up to date than the stone age FSX scenery database. You will miss a few of the smaller airports, though. On the Mac: Simply go to main menu -> Scenery Library and select "Use Navigraph for all features". Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
August 23, 20205 yr Author Yes - but I get this message: Which leads me to believe that if I do that, I'm missing a bunch of information? Edited August 23, 20205 yr by mtwomey

I've got plenty of emails where people complained about missing airport diagrams and more after accidentally switching to this mode. You have the choice. Limited airport information from Navigraph (like no taxiways) but all up-to-date navaids and procedures or nothing at all. 😉 Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
August 23, 20205 yr Author Ok thanks. Well I did go ahead and setup FSX and grabbed the DB and moved it over. I now have the option to use it if I want to see taxiways. If this helps anyone else, PM me (or if it violates anyone's TOS, then nevermind :-) ).
