August 23, 20205 yr Hello hoping everyone is having a lovely day and hoping everyone is enjoying the new amazing simulator. My simulator crashes every time both in the menus and also in flying sessions. This has happened every time and i have not being able to complete a single flight as a result of this let alone more than one touch and go. I have also installed the latest drivers for my graphics card and closely monitored the simulators performance for both my hardware and the simulator. On high settings preset, flying around London, I was getting around 50fps consistently. Temperatures on the CPU remained between 60C and 70C and the GPU running at about 75% to 80% with temps at 70C to 85C with my fan speed for the GPU at 65% and my CPU overclocked at 4.5 (this has always been stable). I would love to enjoy the new sim but i can't as a result of these issues. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it. Thanks FYI the simulator is running on a separate SSD from the C drive. I have also acquired the simulator through the XBOX game pass and run the simulator through the Microsoft store and as an administrater PC Specs: I9-9900KF Aorus GTX1080TI 11GB (not overclocked) Z390 Aorus motherboard 16GB of ram 850W PSU 250GB Samdisk SSD 1TB Kingston SSD 1TB HDD I am not sure if this helps: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 22/08/2020 13:28:41 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-6HL2OAR Description: Faulting application name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5f2ed221 Faulting module name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5f2ed221 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00000000013d8522 Faulting process ID: 0x4fcc Faulting application start time: 0x01d6787caa6c3cc8 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe Report ID: f442d257-ae80-44a7-a489-fc86850b9abe Faulting package full name: Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe Faulting package-relative application ID: App Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Version>0</Version> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Opcode>0</Opcode> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2020-08-22T12:28:41.0434831Z" /> <EventRecordID>1896</EventRecordID> <Correlation /> <Execution ProcessID="0" ThreadID="0" /> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-6HL2OAR</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>5f2ed221</Data> <Data>FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>5f2ed221</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>00000000013d8522</Data> <Data>4fcc</Data> <Data>01d6787caa6c3cc8</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>f442d257-ae80-44a7-a489-fc86850b9abe</Data> <Data>Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe</Data> <Data>App</Data> </EventData> </Event>
