3rd-party planes developed for FSX

Featured Replies

Hi,Are there any add-on planes that are currently available that were developed specifically for FSX?The Flight1 Cessna appears to just be a temporary port, and not everything was functional right from install (I was able to get my Flight1 Pilatus to run on FSX, but I had to copy folders on my own, create my own thumbnail, edit the .cfg file so FSX listed Flight One Software in the publisher category). Are there any planes that are ready to go now? I saw that Wilco Pub listed a few, but alas, when I purchased them, they are still FS 2004 planes (they created an aircraft file in the FSX root directory). I just saw that Abacus lists the Boeing 787, and Eaglesoft lists several FSX planes, but it looks like only a couple of those are ready to go.What have you seen, and what have you used that is truly developed for FSX, and does work. Thanks,Jim

It takes months to develop an aircraft from the ground up. It will be a while before any aircraft designed from scratch specifically for FSX will be available.Tony
