August 27, 20205 yr Suddenly I've lost the possibility to open the in-flight windows for camera and weather. The respective icons are still visible in the row of icons in the in-flight menu (not hidden). When I press camera icon - the small box with a text "CAMERA" appears just below the icon, but no actual camera window allowing to choose the cockpit, external or drone views and manipulate their parameters. The icon also goes negative (for all the properly workin gicon, the icon turn negative when the corresponding window is displayed). After another click the icon is no longer negative. So the icon behaves correclty reacting to click and changning staus (postive/nagative) but the corresponding window is not displayed. Recently I was playing with triple displays with nVidia Surround, and high horizontal resolution, now I'm back to 1920x1080, so I wondered if the windows are displayed outside the visible screen area. I applied some resoultion changes to smaller resolution and back, but the other windows (e.g. ATC of map) behave correclty, I'm unable to force them do dissapear, to replicate the issue with weather and camera windows. The same issue with weather window. Restarting the flight or the sim doesn't help. Any clue? Edited August 27, 20205 yr by Steku
August 28, 20205 yr Author It was indeed related to testing triple display setup. After connecting again all three monitors I was able to find the camera and weather windows back. Seems like the sim is not reseting windows position after resolution change. Moreover sim can't adapt to the changed resolution of connected display. When it was left with 5900x1080 (3 displays) and then jost one diplay remains, when starting the sim compresses the displayed image (including startup screen and menus) and tries to squeeze 5900x1080 into 1980x1080 (or vice versa) with horrible image distortion.
