FSX Default Aircraft Inventory

Featured Replies

Gentlemen,I know all of us are busy to do the tweaking to get something better performance on FSX. Does anyone have checked the default aircrafts? I've noticed somthing.1. The wing of 747 is somewhat just had a flaps burst out - Do others have the same?2. 2D Panel for Grand Caravan - You can not see the runway at all.3. In SIMOBJECTS Folder I got MD-83 without panel but the aircraft is not in the inventory list.Anyboby got solution or have the same problem? Thanks & regards,Isagani

I'm not sure what you mean by a flaps burst out on a 747, sorry. The 2d panel in the caravan covers your view of the runway yes. Use the vertical view panning keys, which default to "shift-enter" and "shift-backspace" I think, to pan your view up and down so that you can see the ground. Also zooming out your view helps. The Md-83 is not a flyable aircraft by default, it's only used for ai-traffic and therefore does not have a panel, gauges, or a vc. Aircraft designed specifically to be used for traffic do not appear in your inventory list. That's normal. It is possible to make the md83 flyable but as there isn't a panel included with it, you'll have to find one and install it, or alias a panel from another aircraft, like the 737. There are tutorials here on avsim that can explain how to make ai aircraft flyable, and selectable in your inventory, if you so wish.Cheers.

AS AI only aircraft there are also a deHavilland Dash 8-Q100 and a Piper Archer (at least it's called an Archer by ATC in FSX, in previous versions it was called a Cherokee)

Thanks a lot guys....Regards,Isagani
