I decided to learn to fly on a single engine airplane which is you'll tell me that it is the basis of aviation. I have never been interested in small planes but above all for big planes Xd. So i worked hard to know and understand how a B737NG works from A to Z. But there, i decided to want to learn the basics that all pilots start before becoming an airline pilot for example. I know all the instruments, which is essential, but what disturbs me is for the navigation flight, to prepare your flight plan with NavLog. I have absolutely no idea how to do it. I took the training in the game, but i understand nothing. I'm not talking about the G1000 but the basic cockpit.

Schwarzgruber mate first off welcome to the wonderful world of flying slow and low.

My advice just due to he sheer amount of information is to take it slow , fly  and as you run into specific questions or need help with a specific problem come ask. Read !!! Tons of documentation is out on the web , after all Flight Simming has been around for a few years and some very talented people have worked hard on making knowledge known on web for getting the most realistic flights possible from with-in a simulator.

Just know though that MSFS 2020 is still in the very very early stages of becoming , what I hope to be the best Flight Sim in history. That being said there are a lot of bugs atm , So if you find yourself running into issues in game just remember we are only day 10 of release.

You are lucky imo , reaching out on these forums is one of the best places for some level headed advice and expertise in flying sims. Good luck and if the G1000 is giving you issues maybe watch these two videos.

and this 2nd one claims to be a real world airline pilot  🙂  Good info in both
