Few questions-GNS 530, 430, logbook

Featured Replies

Sorry, if I describe my problems unprofessionally- I just had 5 VFR lessons on real c152, and used a2a c172 in FSX))

1- GNS 430 and 530 in delux version on c172 classic-  do they work properly or there is a bug? I used to GNS400 in c172 a2a, and it was so easy...

Here I trying to activate direct waypoint to desired airport- and nothing happens. Load or activate approach- nothing happens..vectors to filal- nothing...I downloaded trainer for GNS 430 and 530 from Garmin website,

and can do everything on this trainer without mistakes, but same sequences not working at all in MSFS....Can someone confirm?

2. How to delete entries from logbook? I`m just doing same training flight all over again at my base airport, when I learn enough, I would like to delete them all. Is it possible?

Thanks)

I've had the same expeerience as arncliffe, in the C-172 Classic.  After selecting "Direct to" and entering the waypoint, I press enter 3 times (as in the Garmin trainer app) and nothing happens.  But, if I select cusor and move the cursor highlight to "Activate", it works.  I have found some other odd behaviour by this GNS530 but I've never used it for real, so it could be me.  I suspect this implementation might be buggy - or does anyone know better?
