November 6, 200619 yr I have started importing FS9 aircrafts (FFX 737-800) into FSX. I have noted that the planes seem to pitch nose down and it is very difficult to pull up and even get the nose to the horizontal. I have made sure that my joystick is calibrated and I have played with the elevator pitch trim wheel (+10 / -10), but nothing seems to help. The stock FXS planes to do not behave this way...Is there anything in the cfg files that must be adjusted?Has anyone else experianced this? Thanks for any suggestions.
November 6, 200619 yr Author Unless there is an express statement of compatibility with FSX, you're on your own.The vast majority of aircraft (and scenery) is NOT compatible with FSX. This is especially true with most airliner addon since, in most cases, the developers had to go outside the FS9 SDK to get the aircraft to do exactly what they want.I have found that all of the aircraft (I've tried at least) in FSX have a pretty touchy pitch axis and tend to leap off the runway. So I don't think its your joystick, more than the fact you are trying to do something that the FFX 737-800 was not designed to do...ie. work in FSX.Sorry, I cannot be much more help than to say..."good luck with that".
