September 17, 20205 yr First off, Many Thanks to the souls putting in the time to create awesome Mods for all aspects of this sim. The situation I had prior to update and even after update is some of the Scenery Airports and Landmarks I downloaded didn't work once placed in the Community Folder. Well let me state I installed MSFS on a different drive dedicated to sim so, of course, I put the Mods into that Community Folder (some worked others did not.) The ones that did not I adopted the Orbx Pin Link Source approach. Highly recommended. Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista all support symbolic links—also known as symlinks—that point to a file or folder on your system. You can create them using the Command Prompt or a third-party tool called Link Shell Extension Actually a windows trick to make computer think files are where they are, but actually installed elsewhere even on another drive, you see MSFS also installed components in the windows installation of our system. Sneaky but I Linked the Mods in my installation Community folder (Drive I:MSFS\Community ) to the one in Windows installation (Drive C:\users\yourname\appdata\local\packages\MicrosoftFlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Localcache\ packages\community folder and now all mods are working Here is a great guide to help on this journey... https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/ It is easy easy easy to do once you understand Helps to save Disk space if your in need and have another location to store files Hope this helps more than it confuses haha Steve
