September 17, 20205 yr When I load X-Plane 11 in Windows 10, Bitdefender Global Security Key reports the virus. Does anyone know how to permanently disable real-time virus protection in Windows 10? I can't bear to delete files that thinks "bad" when they are not. I just built a new computer and the only way to shut it down is from the settings window, but when I reboot it automatically turns it back on. I think I was able to permanently disable this from the Group Policy Editor on my old computer, but it seems that in the new Win10 update they made it a bit more difficult.
September 17, 20205 yr Hello, Bitdefender Global Security Key is not a part of the Windows OS. It's a standalone antivirus. You should be able to uninstall it via Apps & Features (or the classic way, via Program and Features from the Control Panel) Hope this helps a bit. BR, Vital Regards, Vital Vanbeginne
