September 19, 20205 yr I found a decent manual on using an FMC. I’m not looking for miracles, but which planes have a mostly functioning FMC for flight planning, departures, arrivals, approaches? Calculating thrust / V speeds would be pretty awesome as well. the flip side would be even if the FMC functions, is the rest of the airplane bug free enough? if you have thoughts on a plane that I should learn on, I will go from there! I have been putting a lot of time on the Bonanza G36. The G58 has a couple weird bugs (can’t select active leg after a direct to, MFD blinks shutting off). The King Air does not seem to have a flight management computer that functions at all. I was playing with the TBM and it seems functional, but I would love a jet / airliner to start exploring next. i7-10700k (OC at 5.05MHz) | EVGA 3090 FTW3 (24GB) | G.Skill RipJaws V Series 32GB RAM (Effective 3200MHz) | 1TB SSD M2 (Samsung EVO) | Corsair 850W Gold P/S | MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240R | MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge WiFi | Logitech Yoke and Throttle Quad | Logitech Saitek Rudders | Logitech Switch Panel | Thrustmaster T.Flight 4 HOTAS | HyperX Cloud Flight S Headset | 43” LG 43UN700B 4k monitor | HP Reverb G2 (VR) Selling EVGA 2080 Super Ultra XC (8GB) - used for 3.5 months - PM me for info if interested!
