September 21, 20205 yr There is a bug or lack of feature or whatever in the MSF code that relates to the nav database. The approaches aren't coded correctly, and combine automatically with transitions - in a faulty manner (ie. you often dont get the correct transition for the STAR you are flying). This corrupts the programmed STAR, and is, as many of you already know, a big pain to deal with on Vatsim/Ivao. HOWEVER If you go to the world menu and program your flight there, and leave the approach to "automatic" (ie, dont select ILS or RNAV approach), the STAR will be left intact and is populated according to the published procedure. At least you will not get the corruption that usually happens when choosing the approach that overwrites big parts of the star.
