September 23, 20205 yr Hi Friends, I'm experiencing problems with AS Classic Liners vol2 with fs9 and windows 10. The flaw seems to be in the original panels, that makes the fs shut dows suddenly. Any help? Thank You.
September 25, 20205 yr Please supply more information, e.g. When exactly does your FS9 shut down ? During the airplane load ? During switching to cockpit view ? During a flight ? Any error messages, either from your FS9 or from your Win10 ? What makes you suspect the "original" panel ? Have you (temporarily) treid any other panels, e.g. any one of the default ones for the same type of airplane ? What type of airplane are you referring to ? A very old classic one, possibly even meant for earlier FS versions ? File name maybe ? Download site ? Regards Hans
September 25, 20205 yr Author Hi, it happens during flight, exactly on final landing. No msg from FS or Win10. Tks for your help.
September 26, 20205 yr "On final landing" ??? At the moment of touchdown ? At the moment that your airport comes into view ? At the moment of ILS/glide slope capture ? Are you flying a pre-saved flight plan ? IFR or VFR ? Under ATC control ? Does this only happen while approaching a particular airport or also at others ? Is the airport concerned a default one or a third party addon scenery one ? Have you tried flying exactly the same flight in any other aircraft ? Repeat: What makes you suspect the original panel ? Downloaded aircraft file name ? Download site ? Hans
September 28, 20205 yr Author Hi, it goes off at 3 miles from touch down, using a saved flightplan. Tkx. Edited September 28, 20205 yr by fcm52
September 28, 20205 yr Author Walter, I think the problem is the Aerosim original panel, because it doesn't happen when using another 3rd part panel.
September 29, 20205 yr I did a Google search with "AS Classic Liners vol2" but all I could find was what looked like a payware aircraft being sold as part of something more complete, either on CD or DVD, in any case not downloadable from somewhere, so that I could not test the aircraft itself and/or it's gauges. And yes, if you do not have the approach problem when using another aircraft's panel, then I can now readily agree with you that it's almost 100% sure that the problem is with one of your gauges, most likely the HSI. The only thing left to suggest is that you search for another (freeware) complete and comparable panel because there are very many of all sorts and sizes available for download on the different FS sites. In the meantime I would also want to suggest that you check the airport's Afcad (or ADE) file via the "Fault Finder" process within those programs, so as to be absulutely sure that (part of) your problem is not hiding somewhere within that file. Good luck Hans
