September 27, 20205 yr Hi all, There is something common on nearly all add-on sceneries I see released in MSFS. At least all the "converted" airports show a granular texture pattern which is unrealistically glued on top of the ground textures. The result is not realistic for two reasons. First, it looks like the taxiway paint is under this layer instead of being on top of the surface. Second this granular effect is in all surfaces imitating the same type concrete while failing to replicate other type of surfaces, like big flat square tiles often seen in airports. An example of this you can see in this preview of Aerosoft EDDK for MSFS: https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/156030-aerosoft-airport-cologne-bonn-for-mfs/ Take a look at the last picture showing a closeup. While in P3D, XP the ground tiles have the correct surface texture, in MSFS they have this granular layer. To me this is very unrealistic. Do you see the same?
