How to increase LOD beyond the max in the ui

By tweaking a simple little file called usercfg.opt you can easily increase the level of detail radius (LOD) beyond the 200 that currently is the max in the ui. Follow the steps listed in this post:

 

Usercfg.opt was for me found in C:\Users\Andreas\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

My MSF is from MS Store.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
