Clearing Completed flight from MCDU

Featured Replies

So as my title suggests, once I've completed a flight . Gone to the gate, how can I clear that sector from my MCDU in preparation for a second or next flight?

In the A320, just go back to INIT and enter your new departure/arrival ICAO codes. You’ll need to overwrite other values (Cost Index, Crz Alt) but that does it.

Tried this before and kept saying not in database. Tried again and it worked. Must have been me.

I have tried and yes, it does create a new flight plan.  However, I have noticed two things.  1. Once you take off it automatically has activated the Approach PERF and does not start from climb to cruz to descent, then to approach phases.  Additionally it only logs your final flight in the log page.  For example you are flying to 4 airports: airport A to airport B to airport C to airport D.  It will only log the flight from airport C to airport D.  Would love to know if it has worked correctly from anyone else and if so let me know what I am doing wrong.

Too be honest so many bugs with FMS/MCDU I would exit the session and setup flight again, that’s providing weather is still working on 2nd flight or else you will need load from desktop again.
