Hi all, my 3 cockpit phd devices work flawlessly in the MSFS 2020. Multi-Purpose Flight Box Pro (Engine start), Multi-purpose Toggle PRO-PANEL, Lights Control with master switches PRO-PANEL and many others Opencocpits MCP, EFIS etc. With every start Linda's assignments are reversed. As example asignment of the lights are swapped with the engine starter, the engine starter with the lights panel. How can I bind the linda map firmly to a usb panel? Hi Joachim

Binding of similar devices (with same PID/VID) is achieved by the device serial number. If USB devices remain plugin to their original ports then LINDA should not mix them up.

I will need to see the HID assignment files (/linda-cfg/system/config-hid.lua and /linda-cfg/aircrafts/msfsdefault/config-hid.lua). It would be helpful if you read and follow the Fault Diagnosis procedure (under LINDA Support) and email me the fsuipc7.log and linda2.log.

Thank you for the files. I can see the USB VID/PID for the 3 panels. All are identical (VID=0079 PID=0006) and none has a unique serial number. Without the serial number LINDA can only associate the correct settings in config-hid.lua if windows presents them in the same plugged in position each time you start your system. LINDA does not use the Windows unique GUID unlike FSUIPC (see fsuipc7.log).  

Unfortunately I have no solution for you at this time. Sorry.

Ok thank you. I think I'm going to change the joystick card, need more switches and displays anyway. in the long run, the constant change of the usb ports is not a solution.
