FSX still has a long way to go

This matter has nothing to do with how many posts one has under his belt before he can voice an opinion.I see that most of the fellows here have been swimming in a sea of partial opinions, based on one system, in one home, from one simmer. No wonder one does not know if he is coming or going in the enormous depth of this sea. You would need an excel spreadsheet and you would need to enter data for months in various category columns to get near to reaching a conclusion.Judgement is based on simple Aristotelian logic, which you may call "common sense" if you want to use its street name. And when one reads in every second post that there is a bug, I am forced to think that at least 50% of the users find faults.I do not need to have the sim to form an opinion, which, I may add, is strictly personal and does not necessarily negate the opinions of others. This is a discussion forum after all, and not a court of law where final decisions and verdicts are reached. When I saw the problems friends had with the demos--in the forums--I did not install the demo I had downloaded, and saved myself many agonies and hurdles, and probably needless expense, as I am sure some souls out there did go out and spend money to fix issues with the demo. With FS9, I never had any problems--perhaps because I got it a year and more after initial release--I do not know if and what patches and fixes had been applied in that time span and do not much care either. My FS9 worked without any bugs and apart from some sky and water enhancements of Bill Lyons, I have not changed anything else and it still runs fine. This clearly is not the case here--have a look at the posts. If it is merely a matter of gb RAM or video card or hardware and software, then I would think people should wait to get those things first and then get FSX. One does not pull the cart without having the donkey/mule/horse first in front of it to provide the power.I sense cases here where some bought the cart first, put their wares (FSX)in it to go to market, and now they have no horsepower to pull it with. No wonder they sweat and lose weight and sleep in their effort to pull what cannot be pulled under such conditions. And do you think that after 10 more pages of posts here you will resolve the problems of FSX? I would say give it 8 months or so, which will be ample time for people to upgrade hardware and peripherals and software and OS, and ample time for MS and various developers to address the bigger bugs of the sim, and then try it.When that moment comes, 10,000 posts will have rolled under the bridge in this section of the forum, with the navigators at the bow still wondering where they are headed but nearly there at last.I originally wanted to keep "the silence of swans" on this matter and kept reading the posts without contributing any comment. But in the end I thought a bit of common sense might not harm and I started this post as an effort to put that angle into perspective. One person--Stoopy-- saw what I meant when he says "we cannot see the forest for the trees"--he is spot on and I could almost hear his sighs of relief all the way to here, Athens, Greece, when I read that.Still, as said, your opinions are respected, though they may differ from mine.Cheers.
