October 24, 20205 yr What is the best way of utilizing a Saitek X52 joystick with a Pro Flight throttle quadrant? The X52 joystick normally attaches to its throttle by a PS/2 connection, with the throttle connected via USB to the pc; likewise, the Pro Flight quadrant normally attaches to its yoke via PS/2 (although there are throttle quadrants that use USB) and with the yoke connected via USB to the pc.
October 29, 20205 yr Author I wasn't expecting this to be a complicated, impossible question. I would like to use my X52 stick with a Pro Flight throttle, for those occasions when, for instance, I fly WWII aircraft like the P-51 Mustang, which uses a central stick with the throttle, mixture, and propeller RPM controls located in a quadrant on the left side. I suppose I could simply attach the stick to its throttle, and sit the throttle on the floor or someplace else reasonably out of the way. I was hoping to avoid that.
