October 26, 20205 yr Hi, I loved the new MSFS and I'm quite excited to see the aircraft offerings from PMDG, FSLabs, QualityWings, TFDi, Majestic, A2A and more. However, it looks like it might take up to / more than 1 year for all of these aircraft to arrive, due to the SDK issues, as cited by these developers. However, they did not specify / give details about these issues, and as an X-Plane developer, I really wonder what they are. It looks like the main issue is WASM modules currently being single threaded and 32-bit, along with many undocumented features (weirdly enough, many of them are actually working just fine, even though they are not documented) and lack of some neat debugging features. Other than that, I have been unable to find something significant which would prevent development of an aircraft, so I am really confused. What else are currently preventing other developers porting their stuff to the new MSFS? If any add-on developers here, I really would love to know more about the details. Thank you.
