FSX and Overland Japan sceneries

Featured Replies

I just love my Overland Japan airports! Seeing that alot of people were able to move their FS9 sceneries with only minor hiccups to FSX I tried. Now I have NO IDEA of what is going on with my runways! Take a look for yourself-*look at attachments*Now if you noticed.. you can see teh runway but then it looks like there is another "fat" runway artifact covering the taxiways and even making up part of the ramp.Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here?Thanks,P.M.USMC®

Where did you place the scenery? It looks like the default and the Overland scenery are both displayed. I don't have that specific addon, but you could try adding the Overland scenery to the Addon folder with the original scenery and texture folders intact. Then add the scenery to FSX in the same fashion you did in FS9. It seems the Addon folder takes precedence over all other folders.Of course, this might not work either as it's only a thought.Jim Karn

yeah I thought that too. I put the sceneries instact just as they had been in FS9 in the addon folder. Still no clue. I will try to disable the scenery and see if it reverts to the default with no problems.Nope I took off the overland scenery and it still shows the bugged runway!I looked in my main scenery folder and there was nothing I could tell was out of place. AllI can think of is that something got corrupted. I will reinstall FSX and see if the problem is addon or fsx related.ACKK I hate the freaking long time it takes to reinstall fsx!
