P3D 5.1 Has someone already tested regional weather in EA

Has someone already tested if EA in 5.1 has now the capabiltiy of different weather regions? This was one major lack in the previous versions which prevented AktiveSky from the nice smoothing Weather transitions if you fly from A to B.

If it´s not controlable in 5.1 yet, we have to wait even longer for having "real weather" with EA, than just the next hotfix.
