Is there a site with ILS frequencies for Europe?

Featured Replies

Having used FSNavigator for many years I am trying to get to grips with the Garmin in order to find ILS frequencies which were easily avaiable in FSNavIn the meantime I'm trying to find out if there is site giving this information for Europe as I'd like to complete the mission Rome-Naples and haven't yet figured out how to entice the info from the GPS in the aircraft.Cliff

Hi Cliff,Search for the file EUROPE.ZIP by Winfried Orthmann. It is in AVSim's File Library. It is a PDF list with all the details of European airports (runways, elevations, ILS frequencies etc).Jozef K. http://homepages.onsnet.nu/~jkusters/signature.jpg

My thanks to all of you who have been so helpful. And, Josef, I've found that file and it has all and more of what I need. I now know that the ILS frequency for runway 24 in the Rome-Naples Mission is 109.5.QEDAnd if by chance one of the Microsoft team happens to read this may I suggest that ILS frequencies in the Missions be included in the Co- Pilot's duties in Missions other than "Expert"?Cliff

I've taken to using the inflight map for freqencies that I do not know. Never need to leave FSX. I've been simming since FS 2!

That's most interesting. I didn't know that we could pick up frequencies from the inflight map.How do we do access those frequencies from the map?Cliff

The european ATC service providers must publish online the national AIP (airman information publication) for italy check www.enav.it and you will find up to date charts and aerodrome infohope I've helpedStefano

>That's most interesting. I didn't know that we could pick up>frequencies from the inflight map.>>How do we do access those frequencies from the map?>>Cliffcall up the Map screen with whichever key you have assigned to it (I always assign 'Enter'), locate your destination airport, and double-click on it. A new window will pop-up over the map which will contain all the info about the airport that you could need. Scroll down the new page a little way and you'll see all the runways/ILS frequencies listed.
