November 5, 20205 yr It seems like after the latest MSFS update that Linda is not working correctly. I have a Honeycomb yoke and am running FSUIPC7 and Linda 4.0.3. A little background. One of my issues with MSFS and the Honeycomb yoke is that with the yoke set up in MSFS with switches assigned, if I go to adjust my heading bug, it will adjust in 10 degree increments. The early fix was to not assign any of the Honeycomb switches in MSFS. That allowed the heading bug to adjust in 1 degree increments. But couldn't use the yoke switches. Then, with FSUIPC7 and Linda 4.0.3 I was able to assign the switches through Linda and was able to operate the switches and have 1 degree increments with the heading bug. Everything worked fine, beautifully, loved it. But,,,, Now, without any changes except for MSFS update, I can't get any of the switches to work. I've tried deleting and reinstalling FSUIPC7 and Linda4.0.3 but still the switches do not work.
November 5, 20205 yr There is an issue with LINDA 4.0.X communicating with the latest FSUIPC7 beta and the latest update to MSFS2020. No joystick buttons are being passed to LINDA. Further investigation is required. In the meantime, I recommend that users do not update MSFS or FSUIPC7. November 5, 20205 yr @David21704After downloading the latest FSUIPC7 beta I had to deleted the old outdated FSUIPC7.key and download the new key which is only valid until 8 Nov 2020. LINDA 4.0.X was now working with FSUIPC7 and MSFS2020 with all assigned button functions working. I am not sure how you have set up your Honeycomb Yoke to change the heading bug. Are you trying to assign the default functions HDG_plus/_min to a switch? November 5, 20205 yr Author I believe I have everything working OK now. Originally I thought it was a LINDA issue but turns out to have been an expired FSUIPC7 key. As for the Heading Bug issue, I adjust the heading bug, OBS and others with the scroll wheel on my mouse. With the buttons on the Honeycomb assigned through MSFS, it would increment in 10's. It has something to do with the persistent ON nature of the Honeycomb switches. So if I don't have those switches assigned through MSFS but assigned through LINDA, I don't have that issue. LINDA is an awesome utility. I use it for both MSFS and FSX. Just that the expired FSUIPC7 key through me into a spiral until I figured that out. Thanks,
