I am trying to follow the LINDA 4.0.3 BETA instructions and I just can't seem to get my VRInsight to talk to FS2020 without using VRiSim.

I've:

- Followed all the instructions, including ordering of opening programmes (LINDA --> FS2020 --> FSUIPC 7 in Cockpit mode)

- bought an FSUIPC 7 license

- tried reinstalling all software.

 

Despite this, I still need to open VRiSim and let it take over the MCP and then it talks to FS2020, but I'd rather use Linda so that I can programme some buttons.

Any help would be super appreciated.

 

VRSIM.EXE will conflict with FSUIPC7 and LINDA. Ensure that the correct Comport is set in LINDA and that LINDA is sync-ed to Sim.

Start LINDA before MSFS and FSUIPC7  

If you still have a problem please read and follow the Fault Diagnosis Procedure under LINDA Support and email me the FSUIPC7.log.

After talking with Andrew and through sheer experimenting, I got it to work.

NB: Those who have run VRiSIM before should REINSTALL FSUIPC AND LINDA before using FS2020. Make sure that the fsuipc7.ini file has been deleted.

Then, run the simulatior with FSUIPC7 (via the batch file) ONCE without LINDA.

After that, every time, run LINDA, then MSFS + FSUIPC batch file.

 

I can confirm this works with the newest update too (1.10.11.0).

Hallo flightsimmers , ook ik had wat problemen met de combi MS2020 linda en mijn vrinsin fmcu airbus combo.

Ik heb vinsin basis progje en de airbuscombo geinstalleerd daarna Linda , en heb deze in de fsjuipc map geplakt .

de pc opnieuw opgestart en het werkt meteen .

Ik hoop dat ik iemand hiermee kan helpen .met vriendelijke groet Ted

@Ted Buter You should not run the VRSim.exe software if your wish to use LINDA. All you need from VRSim is to install the FDPT USB-Serial drivers. It is also useful to determine the COMPORT in use.

Ensure that on the Setup Combo page has the Combo Enabled and correct COMPORT set.
