Hello, I am trying to build a MCP. I got past the circuitry,  PCB and components, but I have no experience in engraving plastic. I have a .dxf file with all the lettering, and lines etc.

Question: What is a suitable plastic material or substrate which can be used to engrave the letters and numbers for the MCP panel? I want to be able to use the backlit option at night, and I would like a Boeing 737blue, or as close to it as possible.  Can someone point me in the right direction please?

BTW. How does this "image from URL" work? I tried to upload a picture of what I am looking for, and no luck. How do I make my picture into a url?
