November 16, 200619 yr Very similiar. P4 3.0 Dual core ATI Radeon X1600, latest drivers 1 Gig Ram also. Could it be that the drive needs to be defragmented??Jerry
November 16, 200619 yr It never hurts to defrag. Does the plane image ever load? Or does it stay that way?System Specs:P4 3.0SB LiveATI Radeon X800 GTO (256)1 Gig DDR RAM

November 20, 200619 yr I think it's slow loading due to memory deficits, either video memory, RAM, or both. I just skip that opening screen entirely, since what I really want is to get my default flight loaded anyway.
