November 27, 20205 yr Greetings, I recently bought the FCU Airbus Version from Aerosoft/Vrinsight. I installed evrything right after the book, usb-driver, Linda and fsuipc (reistered) Of course I got the message that we have to live with a lot of limitations. Thats quite frustrating because I bought this hardware to have the special Airbus "look&feel". I am using a Goflight MCPro panel, but thats designed for "Team Boeing" and lacking all the set/managed options. At the moment I was only able to get some very basic things to work like changig values for Speed, HDG and Alt. "Deeper" Functions like switching QNG/Standard, Rose and Range as well as all other "buttons" do not work. I wonder if I make any mistakes. Ok, Limittations noted, but with the Goflight Panel and the Goflight Interface tool from Polly soft I can for exampel engange/disengage the AP, set Approch Mode, AT, FD and so on. But with the new Panel no Button/Switch is doing anything in the EFIS/FCU modules. Thats a bit "funny" because for example the Com module works, can change Frequencies and change from Com to Nav etc etc. What did I wrong?
November 27, 20205 yr I will repeat myself again (see other posts). LINDA 4.0.3 BETA offers only LIMITED functionality for MSFS2020 due to the fact that Microsoft does not offer access to data (Lvars) for aircraft like the Airbus. LINDA default setup for the VRi MCP panels uses those default items that conform to the original FSX interface. The available functions are in LIB:Default MSFS. The autopilot SPD/HDG/ALT/VS and radios should work correctly. LINDA only works with devices that act like joystick buttons. It does not support GoFlight hardware. Once Microsoft implements data output that FSUIPC7 can see then there will be no chance of improvement.
