Adding to the cycle

Featured Replies

HI, I have deleted the tower view from the cycling views(S) but how do I add another? I would like to add the 2d panel to those I already have so that I can switch quickly using the joystick from 3d to 2d.Thanks a lot

HiUnless you made some other change that you didn't mention, the 2D view is part of the normal cycling sequence. Better to HIDE unwanted views by appending "CycleHidden=Yes" to the end of the definition. This view will then NOT show in the S/A-key rotations but will still be available through the menu. Deleting a view will deprive you of something you may want occasionally. My Flyby view, for instance, is hidden because I don't use it but it's always available if I change my mind. But as to your question: is the Cockpit definition still in the Cameras.cfg and does it have the CycleHidden at the end? Have you tried to change the view hotket assignments in the in the key assignments? That caused me no end of grief until I put it back like it was! Then my hotkeys worked normally.Don't mess with the Cameras.cfg in the FSX folder - That's the one used for backup/restoring the 'active' config in the folder with your FSX.CFG. ( in Documents and SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftFSX folder )Best of LuckLoyd
