November 20, 200619 yr I have the doc that tells how to import overland jets into fsx, but when I install the free demo version of overland's md-11, the install for fs9 contains a winzip file, not a .cab file. Anyone who has installed this demo version care to tell me how to install this into fsx? If it is too time consuming, never mind. I want to buy the overland set, only if install into fsx is automatic and seemless, yet so far I am afraid to try it. Peter
November 20, 200619 yr Author I don't understand why you think it's difficult. Here are the instructions. Installation:Unzip file and copy aircraft to main FS9 aircraft file.If you already have the SMS Overland MD-11 v.2 with virtual cockpit, this is the same modelfile that you already have. Copy effects to main FS9 effects file.Copy gauge file PAPMD_11v2 as is (*do not extract or unzip). This is a fictional model. CAL flew the DC-10 10's and 30's series, however, the company did not fly the MD-11.repainted by James [email protected] by Matsushi YutakaSimply copy and paste/cut and paste/drag drop the aircraft into your SimObjectsAircraft folder..and copy the gauge file into your panel folder for the aircraft. That simple.
