fsx was working well. folllowing an attempt to install world of ai using the newest fsx installer, i appear to have lost virtually all stationary aircraft and most of my default ai traffic. dont't know if the prior use of woai installer as coincidental or the cause of the problem. no new ai aircraft seen even at heavily used airports like seattle and o'hare. i have tried different settings for traffic and no changes have restored my aircraft. the sim continues to perform well in all other respects.any suggestions how to recover my default aircraft and ai traffic. also, any ideas why none of the wwoai traffic is evident?steve chavin

Hi Steve,Once an FS9 AI package is installed it overrides the default FSX stuff.All my WWOAI stuff works. If you have the World of AI American Airlines pack installed, go to Miami Intl. You should see a ton of American planes at the airport.I also lost my default AI but I don't miss the phoney airlines a bit. I do need to get back some GA traffic though. One of these days I'm going to get brave and copy over my GA-Traffic stuff from FS9. I always found that GA-Traffic gave me a better variety and more control over GA AI than FS9 or Ultimate Traffic did.Jim

thanks to both jims for their helpful replys. i now have some ai and stationary aircraft after instaling some additional packages and trying different airports at different hours.i have severaal additional questions. first, what are you doing for afcads; can you use fs9 afcads/ second, have you used any pai and ultimate ga packages, and are there any special things necessary for using these fs9 packs in fsx? finally, is it necesary to remove the defaut aircraft traffic.bgl for fsx when using addon ai?thanks again for the help. steve chavin
