My experience with mods and the new update (DA62 flyers)

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have simmed a few short flights with the new updates and the mods I use. Hope this is interesting for some of you.I usually only fly the DA62. The mods I use are the working title G1000, Realsimgear G1000, a few liveries I found browsing the web for DA62 and the DA62 mod (updated) I found in flightsim.to.

After downloading the new update, I found two surprising things: PFD and MFD were interchanged (the pfd appeared in the left panel and the FMD in the right one), and the AP "danced" around the locallizer.

After deleting all mods form the community folder (except the realsimgear one, I "need" it), and trying one at a time, I have found the "culprit" of the strange behavior is the DA62 mod. After trying them all, the exchange between MFD and PFD and the "dance" over the locallizer, only happen when it is in my community folder.

I inform about this to the developer and the community.

I am going to keep it since I like to have a realistic in cockpit information about engines power, but you have to be careful when IFR landing.

I have found steering the plane in ground is much more realistic now.

Best regards to all, hope this has been useful.
