Oculus link is great when it works

Featured Replies

Had my quest 1 running ok with the link cable inSim but this morning the quest 1 locks up in rift home so now it's useless, spent hours trying to sort it out, factory reset quest 1, re installed oculus home and etc etc etc, now within a matter of 30-60 seconds freezes in rift home, quest 1 home no issue at all, totally over it now. Strange thing if I connect my son's quest 2 does not happen ?

Solved it was actually the connector on the cable which is loose and looses connection with the headset and is causing the lockups, also likely a worn connection inside the headset as well contributing to the problem, sometimes the most basic problems take the longest to find but happy it's not software causing it
