January 12, 20215 yr Moderator I run Windows 10 at a resolution of 3840*2160. That is fine for most programs but one gives me visibility problems and it’s necessary to drop down to 1920*1080 to see it clearly. Is there any way I can run it in a separate window (ideally 1920*1080) so I can see the text clearly? The author is no longer around and in any case has sold the software used to create it. The program’s window is fixed. I’ve looked at Program Compatibility settings but it’s limited to 640*480 and the whole display changes rather than just the application window. January 12, 20215 yr Author Moderator Thanks for your thoughts Rob. So even with the advancements made in Microsoft OSs what I desire isn’t possible. Fair enough. The program in question is Concorde Performance System-X - written by a French expert on that aircraft. You feed it a flight plan and after adding pax numbers and the accel point for the supersonic flight it calculates fuel load and other pertinent info. Looks like I’ll need to get my magnifying glass out then. Ray (Cheshire, England). January 12, 20215 yr Author Moderator Rob, no room for a second monitor for my flight sim PC. However, I have a 27” next to the 32” connected to another PC. I could probably run an HDMI or DP cable to my 27” which runs at 2560*1440. That would probably suffice. Both monitors are BenQ. Ray (Cheshire, England).
