Hi, first of all,  a thank you for making such a great tool for free and keep it updated!

A newbie here so maybe it is a dumb question, but i could not find a good answer in the manual, the FAQ or googling to my problem.

When i try to load scenery data from MSFS, it shows 0 loaded, and no error, and i while i can see airport if i select use Navgraph for all features, i cannot see airport if i choose any other option. and i dont see parking spaces etc at airport, so i suspect the scenery data is not loaded properly.

Note that i have done the same procedure following the instruction on my last PC and everything works. I did the same on my new PC and came across the above problem.

Any tips or suggestions on how to solves this would be much appreicated!

Cheers,

Lei

Hi Lei,

did you modify the path in the load scenery dialog? Try to reset the path. LNM detect the MSFS installation automatically.
Do you have remains of another MSFS installation (e.g. Steam vs. MS download) around?

its a new install on this pc, and it shows the right path here that included community and official folders.

 C:\Users\uu\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages

is it normal to have 0 asset loaded but also 0 error?

This is not normal. LNM should at least show a bunch of error messages.

Can you run one of these loading attempts and then send me the log file per email (contact on my page)? Log file can be found in menu tools -> files and directories -> open log file.

Thanks got it. What I see:

Quote

Directory "C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache/Packages/Official/Steam/fs-base" does not exist

This is the wrong path.

The correct fs-base folder is here for a MS installation (replace YOURNAME with your login name):
C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache/Packages/Official/OneStore/fs-base

The folder from the log is also wrong for a Steam installation.

When you reset the path in the loading dialog it should revert to the correct one which is this one:
C:/Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache/Packages

This would be correct for a MS installation. Do you have a Steam, MS download or MS boxed installation?

I also see a lot of excluded folders. Check options on page "scenery library" in the upper box if these exclusions are correct.

I have to check why there is no error message shown. Maybe a bug in LNM.

BTW: Regarding contact go to https://www.littlenavmap.org or click on my signature. There is a link below "Contact and Support" which will start a new email.
